Advocacy, Documentation and Resource Centercommunicating human rights violations
The Advocacy, Documentation and Resource Office (ADRO) demonstrates LICADHO's dynamic approach in defending human rights in Cambodia. In conjunction with the Children's Rights Advocacy Office and the Women's Rights Advocacy Office, LICADHO uses information received through the Monitoring and Protection Program to advocate at the local, national and international level to raise awareness of specific human rights issues and to prevent human rights violations.
What we do
ADRO's activities include:
- Maintaining a human rights database by collecting case files received from LICADHO's Human Rights, Children's Rights and Women's Rights Monitoring and Protection Offices, as well as the Prison Office and through the media

- Translating case files, newspaper articles and LICADHO briefing papers, reports, press releases and other documents into Khmer and English
- Coordinating advocacy activities including the recording of a monthly Khmer podcast, compiling photo albums and editing videos
- Assisting with the distribution of 70 FLIP cameras provided by Witness to community activists and producing videos based on footage taken by activists
